RECOVERY HOUSING SCHOLARSHIPS
A Safe Space to Begin Again
Recovery takes time—and one of the biggest barriers is the cost of safe, structured housing. Too many people in early recovery are forced back into unsafe environments simply because they cannot afford the entry fee for recovery housing. That’s where the Recovery Housing Scholarship steps in.
Application Process
Recovery Housing Scholarship applications must now be submitted by a partnered provider, such as a recovery housing organization, treatment center, or case manager.
If you are an individual seeking housing assistance, please have your recovery home or treatment team contact us at scholarships@
How It Works
- Covers up to one month of rent in NARR Affiliate-certified recovery homes.
- Distributed in two-week increments based on individual need and progress.
- Funds go directly to recovery homes, not individuals, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Applications are submitted by partnered providers on behalf of individuals in need.
Why It Matters
By removing the financial barrier to recovery housing, these scholarships provide people with stability, safety, and support during the most vulnerable stage of their journey. Every scholarship represents a second chance—or sometimes a twelfth chance—for someone to rebuild their life with dignity and hope.
The Impact
Your support helps us fund scholarships that:
- Provide a safe place for 25–50 people every month.
- Support 300–600 individuals annually with up to one month of housing.
- Create measurable, transparent impact that we share back with our community through stories and updates.
