GENERAL
Healing Appalachia is a weekend-long event from September 19 and 20.
Healing Appalachia takes place in the field just north of the Boyd County Fairgrounds in Ashland, Kentucky. Use the Fairgrounds address: 1760 Addington Rd, Ashland, KY 41102, and follow the event signage to the designated festival grounds.
Yes, all ticket holders driving a vehicle must purchase a camping, RV or day parking pass. Upon arrival, staff will direct you to your pre-purchased parking/camping area.
The campgrounds will open at 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 18. All parking is first come, first served. Gates will close at 10:00 PM that evening. Please note: All RVs must arrive by 7:00 PM on Friday. If you require a later arrival time, email customer service in advance.
Yes, the festival is rain or shine.
Yes, the festival is open to all and families are welcome.
Only certified service animals are permitted on the premises. Emotional support animals, pets, or non-certified dogs are not allowed. Anyone in violation of this policy will be escorted off the property.
All attendees must be off the campgrounds by 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 21.
TICKETS
Tickets are only available through our website. Ensure authenticity by purchasing tickets exclusively through our official website. No tickets will be available through third-party sellers.
Children 12-17 need to have a ticket. Children under 12 are free and do not require tickets unless accessing VIP.
Once you have purchased your tickets, a personal account will be created for you. To log in to your personal account, click here.
All sales are final. We understand plans may change, but all ticket sales are final, and refunds are not available.
Tickets are not transferable. Contact us directly if you wish to transfer your tickets to another individual.
ENTRY & SECURITY
Yes, all bags and vehicles will be subject to a full search.
Firearms, illegal drugs, nitrous oxide, fireworks, and glass bottles/containers brought onto the property are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in removal without a refund.
No. Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited on festival grounds. Security will check vehicles upon entry. If you have a weapon in your vehicle, you will be required to check it with security before entering. A fee will apply for this service. You may retrieve your checked weapon when exiting the event.
We ask all attendees to look out for each other and respect all festival staff members and security. If you see something suspicious, please let a staff member know.
We reserve the right to remove individuals from the property for violations of our policies, with no refund provided.
​​Yes, ticketed attendees are allowed to leave and re-enter the festival grounds. Re-entry is permitted daily between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Note: for both day parkers and campers: the event gate closes at 9:00 PM each night. If you are not on the property by that time, you will be denied access to both the campground and the show.
The festival has security staff in place as well as county sheriff representation. The festival security team will be present during the day, during the concert, and overnight.
THE MUSIC
Festival doors open on Friday, September 19 at 2:00 PM and close 12:00 AM. They will re-open for Saturday’s music at 12:00 PM and close at 12:00 AM.

You are allowed to bring chairs into the music venue. However, please note there are designated areas in which chairs are not allowed and blow-up chairs are prohibited. Chairs may not be left overnight—any chairs left behind will be removed and discarded.
No. To ensure everyone’s visibility and safety, umbrellas, pop-up tents, and other pop-up structures are not allowed inside the music venue.
To maintain clear pathways and ease of movement, wagons or other carts are not allowed inside the music venue. Strollers, however, are allowed.
Outside food and drink, coolers, glass containers of any type, and blow up chairs are prohibited inside the music venue.
No outside food or drink will be permitted inside the music venue.
Yes, we will have bars set up in the music venue during the performances. All attendees will be required to have their ID checked prior to the performances and will receive a bracelet, which is required to be worn to purchase or consume alcohol.
LODGING & CAMPING
Yes, you are welcome to leave and return to the campground area with your vehicle daily between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. If you are not on the property by the time gates close, you will be denied access to both the campground and the show.
Please note, once RVs are parked, it will need to stay for the entire weekend. You are welcome to purchase a second vehicle day parking pass if you would like to leave and re-enter during the weekend.
Yes, several water stations are situated throughout the property. Feel free to bring your favorite reusable bottle or purchase one from our amazing vendors.
Yes, you are allowed to cook at your campsite. You are welcome to use a small camp stove and propane grills/blackstones. Please keep in mind the sites are primitive/field camping, and the property requests that the grass is not burned by camp stoves and fire pits. Open wood fires are not permitted.
Please plan to have your food in a bin that you can lock in your vehicle or somewhere inaccessible to wildlife (bears, skunks, etc.)
Yes, ice will be available for purchase on the festival grounds.
We have many camping options to suit all of our attendees’ needs. From primitive camping to ADA accessible locations, car camping passes, platinum car camping passes for the closest spots to the stadium, and RV camping options.
No wood campfires, including fire pits and solo stoves, are permitted. The only campfires allowed are gas grills/stoves.
Arrive early. Camping and parking spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Our staff will direct you to the proper, designated areas.
No, unfortunately, we do not have tents to rent for this event. All attendees will need to bring their own camping gear.
No, saving parking and camping spots is not allowed. All spots are on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to camp with others, we suggest driving in together.
Yes, the campgrounds are ADA accessible. Please be aware the venue has some gravel pathways.
Please visit the local CVB websites for a list of hotels in the area.
Platinum Campsites include access to porta-potties and showers. All other campsites are primitive, with only access to porta-potties. No amenities are included. This includes RV spaces, which are all primitive (no power, water, or sewer hookups are available).
You can bring tents, coolers, chairs, food, and drinks (no glass). Fireworks are strictly prohibited.
Generators are only permitted in the RV area, and only quiet models are allowed. Please respect quiet hours from 3:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
All attendees must be off the campgrounds by 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 21.
VENDORS & SHOPPING
Yes! You’ll find a variety of food, craft, and merchandise vendors on site. A full list of vendors will be added to the site closer to the festival dates.
Yes, ATMs will be available on the festival grounds.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Yes, a first aid station will be set up within the festival grounds. Ask security staff for help or directions. Boyd County EMS on site to assist any medical emergencies.
Please go to our first aid station or contact one of our security team members that will be onsite throughout the festival grounds.
Lost and found is located at the East Gate entrance.
Miscellaneous
Photographs and/or video will be taken at the festival. By taking part in this event you grant the event organizers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, and press releases. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform an event organizer.
No, there are no designated charging stations for electronic devices.
Yes. You may bring a backpack, bag or purse on to the property. All bags, backpacks, purses, etc. will be searched prior to entry.
